Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:
The employee is responsible for initiating communication and coordinating the flow of information between the Chief's Office and other clinical sections in order to facilitate continuity of patient care. Participates in establishing protocols for incoming data, organizes and retrieves computerized data and enters computerized data into various systems accurately and timely. Incumbent is Primary Timekeeper and will perform all duties associated with timekeeping for the service. PSA works in conjunction with supervisor as TMS Administrator. Incumbent is the sole PIV Sponsor for the service and will ensure all members of Quality have timely computer access. Monitors and advises supervisors within QM regarding the 5 Tier Performance Appraisal System, Annual Competencies and Initial Competencies for new employees. Incumbent shall prepare and assist QM Chief for Council Meetings by the following:
schedule monthly meetings; collect reports from presenters; upload previous months reports onto the Share Point; organize reports according to agenda; record and transcribe minutes for draft. Promotion Potential:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05 The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. Specialized Experience GS-07:
One year of demonstrated specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level that required knowledge of procedures and techniques to carry out the work directly applicable to this position. Examples of specialized experience may include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with the Quality Management and other support personnel to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the services, including the various impromptu emergencies, to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. As the TMS Administrator and PIV Sponsor and Manager assists all employees within the service with TMS, PIV, VATAS, ECAR, CPRS, VISTA and all computer-based systems required of the service. Incumbent serves as the primary timekeeper for all employees in the service and is the ADPAC for the service. The incumbent is responsible for all office management functions including typing, word processing, and use of the Excel program, receptionist duties, filing and report generation. The incumbent is the primary clerical support for the Chief of Quality Management and Quality Management staff. This ranges from correspondence, recording and transcribing minutes for the committee meetings within QM to providing reports for other services as requested. Helps support the Patent Safety Manager (PSM), Accreditation RN Specialist, and other QM Staff with scheduling meetings, running reports, and manages all the follow up activities for Center Memorandums for the QM Department.
